Jade Enrique, EdD, BCC

Faculty & Life Coach

I work with frustrated, unhappy, and unsure students who are losing faith in themselves. I help them get balanced and unstuck, so they can be brightly confident about their academic and personal lives. Through coaching, students establish concrete action steps and build their awareness of learning and emotional resources/tools. I am passionate about students developing better skills to help them study, learn, and grow brightly.

Life Coach

As a coach, I work with young adults who may be struggling to find their life path, having challenges with anxiety, overwhelm, and perfectionism, or, conversely, lack of direction or motivation. Coaching provides a supportive container in which to deepen self-awareness and experiment with small changes that can lead to major shifts. I believe that when we learn to stop struggling with ourselves, we open up to more meaning and aliveness.

I began working in mental health in 2017 after a lengthy career in the design field. My work enables me to serve people who are striving to overcome challenges in order to live more fulfilling lives.

My background includes four years as a volunteer youth mentor, training as a facilitator of Teen Talking Circles, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, and substantial experience as a crisis line worker.

Certified Youth Resilience Coach

Bachelor of Arts in Independent Studies with a focus on Adolescent Identity, Marylhurst University

*Reduced Rate Coaching Overview

We train youth serving professionals in evidence-based coaching to empower underserved youth to overcome and thrive. Our trainees complete 60 hours of International Coach Federation-approved coach training under the supervision of our faculty who hold a Master’s degree or higher and ICF and/or CCE coaching credentials.

During their final stage of training, they begin working with practice clients as practicum hours to qualify for credentialing. Their practice sessions are evaluated for feedback and ongoing development. Life coaching fees are typically an out of pocket expense as they’re not covered by health insurance. The average market rates for coaching tend to be inaccessible for the majority of our audience. We find offering reduced rate coaching is a beautiful way to make high quality coaching more accessible for the youth we serve while equipping the next generation of coaches to make a positive difference.
